a random excerpt from my journal the morning after a strange night out on the town
wake up on someone's couch with your hoops still on and the sunlight pouring through the windows onto your face
find your keys and go home for hot coffee
don't bother trying to brush your hair, just put some makeup over the mascara you've been wearing for the past 24 hours
clean the purple smoothie off your backpack that some surfer boy spilled in the dark
find your disposable camera with less pictures left on it than it did yesterday
slip on the same pair of worn out levi's from last night with your four year old converse high tops that are falling apart at the soles
find the boys' instagrams with the curly long hair and tan skin and warm hands
turn on music and drive to your best friend's house, down the same streets that you drove down last night at 2 AM.
just to go do it all over again
feeling eternally teenage
"I should have stayed at home cause right now I see all these people that love me but I still feel alone can't help but check my phone I could have made you mine but no it wasn't meant to be and see I wasn't made for you and you weren't made for me though it seemed so easy..."
with much love,
